Village Fiction Dictionary (150 points)
Talk Time with a Village Member
This Nugget is written to the Village Member.
1. Start the Nugget by saying a made-up word. For example, “shammershoops”. Think of a meaning for this word, but keep it to yourself!
2. Now, use your new word in different sentences. For example, “After dinner, someone has to help me with the shammershoops.”
3. Everyone else has to try to guess what you are trying to say and what the word means!
4. Can you guess what “shammershoops” means? It means “dishes”!
5. Once your word has been defined, someone else goes and makes up a new word.
6. Keep the Nugget going and make up and define as many words as you can!

Seeing Double (90 points)
In the car with a Village Member
1. Pick a Village Member or Fassa Kid to record everyone's points.
2. Pick a time that the game will end, or play the entire time you are in the car.
3. Each Fassa Kid looks for license plates with 2 of the same letters and/or numbers.
4. The first to call out a license plate gets 1 point for each duplicate number or letter on the plate. Here is an example:
YLLEK 33 = 4 points because it has 2 L's and 2 3’s.
5. When the time is up, the Fassa Kid with the most points wins!

Fassa Freeze Tag (300 points)
Outdoors and no supervision needed
1. Pick 1 Fassa Kid to be “It”.
2. "It" tries to tag the other Fassa Kids.
3. If you get tagged, you are frozen and have to stand completely still.
4. To get unfrozen, another Fassa Kid has to give you a high-five and you have to yell out a Planet Fassa Character.
5. If you cannot think of a Planet Fassa character or have used all of them, then you are "It"!

Please Fasten Your Seatbelts (300 points)
Indoors and no supervision needed
1. Arrange chairs in a line or you can sit in a line on the floor.
2. Take turns being the Passengers, Flight Attendant, and Pilot.
3. Find different things for the Pilot to use to pretend to fly the plane. For example, a Frisbee can be used as a steering wheel (a steering wheel in a plane is different than a car, but you can pretend!). If you have never seen inside a cockpit (that is where the pilot sits to fly the plane), then use your imagination to think about what a Pilot might use to fly a plane.
4. Next, find things for the Flight Attendant to use to take care of the Passengers. You could use empty cups for drinks, pillows to give to sleepy Passengers, or books and magazines to pass out for reading materials.
5. Find things for the Passengers to have. You could find things to use as pretend suitcases, a book to read, pretend headphones, or anything you can think of! You can also make tickets for the Passengers.
6. Use your imagination for this flight. Think of a fun place to travel to. Ask all of the Passengers they are flying – is it to visit family? A business trip? Or just for fun?
7. Flight Attendant, before take-off, make sure that everyone knows all the safety exits and rules for the flight! Have all Passengers buckle their seatbelts and prepare for take off.
8. Pilot, during the flight have your Passengers look out the windows as you pass over mountains, oceans, and fly through the clouds. Make sure to tell them how high you are traveling. You can even pretend that the plane is hitting some turbulence (that is when the plane hits air pockets and bumps around in the air). Have your Passengers bounce around in their seats.
9. Passengers, press the call button if you need anything from the Flight Attendant. Remember to ask politely!
10. When it is time to land, Flight Attendant, prepare the airplane and Passengers for landing. Pilot, make sure to check in with the flight deck to see which runway is open for your arrival and then plan your landing.
11. Have fun and be creative before and during the flight, and as you land. Make your trip as fun and full of adventure as you can!
