I was taking care of our oldest grandson one day when he was about three and he wanted to watch a DVD. His mother had left instructions on how to use their various devices and the three remotes that went with them. I told him I would try to set it up, but I really didn’t even understand the instructions. I pushed various buttons on various remotes and low and behold the DVD came on. He looked up at me and said, “Gram, I’m so proud of you!”

That was four years ago, and I am still no better with technology, but I am looking forward to Planet Fassa because I think it will be a way for me to be in his world and still be comfortable in mine. Even if he has Fassa Nuggets (activities) to do and I am not at his home, we will be able to talk and laugh about them over the phone.
Our youngest grandchild is now one, and who knows what technology will be like when she is three. I will probably be able to watch her doing Nuggets on my phone.
Life is never going to go back to “how it was” when we were small or even to “how it was” when our children were small. But this new game is a way for us old folks to have it both ways!

Haha, I have to share some funny story which happened to me yesterday: I decided to introduce my elderly mother to the magic of the Internet. Our first move was to access the popular Ask Jeeves website, and I told her it could answer any question she had. My mom was very skeptical until I said, “It’s true, Mom. Think of something to ask it.” As I sat with fingers poised over the keyboard, she thought a minute, then responded, “How is Aunt Helen feeling?”
It was a funny thing, I also encountered that on our TV. I used to be workaholic, don’t have time to touch even our TV
, one time I sit down decided to watch and I turn on my TV insert DVD tape but I don’t know to switch on video
, we don’t have remote, got broke, the problem is I can’t read the label on TV, my son came and press something, and that’s it!
, i got to be shame in my son. Lol! Just want to share
