Keep ‘em coming

I laughed out loud today as I was reading through the ideas that have been submitted to our Activity Contest. We are picking up the kids tonight and I can’t wait to try some of the activities with them. Here are two of the entries:

The other day my kids decided to “help daddy cut the lawn” and were very literal about this activity. They each took a pair of kids’ scissors and trimmed the grass around the trees and landscaping etc. This was a great activity to help my two year old increase fine motor and cutting skills!” – Jessica W

My kids loved to paint the house. I’d save plastic food containers and buy cheap one-inch paint brushes from the home supply store. Fill the containers with water and let the kids “paint” the outside of your house. Bonus for Mom–you have the cleanest home on the block (at least from 3 feet down).” – Lynn P

Thank you to Jessica and Lynn, and all others who have sent in their ideas. Please keep them coming!
